Rochelle began practicing yoga in 1997. Then, the mother of two toddlers, she found the mental and spiritual benefits of yoga equally important to the physical. Rochelle studied, practiced and taught Astanga Yoga for several years before receiving her 200 hour certification in Kripalu Yoga. Over the years, Rochelle has practiced a variety of styles of yoga and learned from many inspiring teachers. She pulls from each teaching to offer her own interpretation of the practice to her students.
Rochelle has taught group yoga classes and private yoga sessions in a variety of settings. Her teaching is grounded in the principle that yoga is accessible to all and customized to serve specific needs of each individual or group. A strong and flexible body is the vehicle for self realization. We can all learn to use yoga to support our lives outside of the studio.
Rochelle loves to hike, ski, volunteer, spend time with family and friends, and is a new runner. Her children are now young adults and she calls upon her yoga practice daily to provide insight and guidance. The heart of her teaching follows Kripalu yoga philosophy as a practice that enriches all aspects of wellness: physical, emotional and spiritual. Rochelle’s classes include breathwork, warm-ups, postures and (everyone’s favorite) relaxation.

Sarah started practicing Anusara Yoga in Los Angeles, California in 2000. After a back injury she found that yoga was the only way to protect her back, her nerves, keep her flexible and strong, and feel alive again. Sarah learned to teach by the National Yoga Institute in Santa Monica, California in Vinyasa Flow in a 200 hour training. Her teachers were Shana Meyerson of Yogaathletica, Rudy Mettia of Santa Monica Power Yoga and Michelle Mazur. She carries this flow training into her teaching style by linking the breath with each movement. The heart opening expression in her classes is inspired by her years of Anusara Yoga. She believes that the practice is playful, physical, and spiritual at the same time. She encourages strong arms and legs on all levels. Sarah loves a challenge to change preconceived notions of the way the world is suppose to be. Sarah is a huge fan of a relaxing Svasana and hopes you do too! She loves to learn new techniques and styles by reading attending workshops, and more teacher trainings. Sarah also loves to experiment with why we do the things we do.

Sarah is also trained in Kids Yoga by Mini Yogis in Santa Monica, California.

On the side, Sarah loves to run, play games, and read.

After years of dabbling in yoga on and off, Stacey came to her mat with consistent dedication in January of 2011 and hasn't looked back.  Yoga is an integral part of her daily life and she is grateful to be able to share her love of yoga through teaching.  She loves everything about yoga - moving, breathing, being present, cultivating awareness and acceptance, finding stillness, and most especially connecting with the Divine presence that resides deep within all of us.  Yoga is much more than a physical practice for Stacey and it is her desire as a teacher to hold space for students to create an intimate relationship with themselves through the practice of yoga.  Stacey completed a 16 month training program with Jonas Zev Amberger at Zev Yoga in December of 2012.  While she doesn't adhere to any one particular style of yoga, her practice and her teaching are strongly influenced by the tradition of Ashtanga.  She is currently working with Lauri Sowers, who has been supporting her in a yoga teacher mentoring relationship.  Lauri has been a wonderful source of knowledge and encouragement for her and she is beyond thankful for this support as she continues to learn and grow as a teacher.

When she isn't practicing or teaching yoga, Stacey enjoys being a Mom to her 8 1/2 year old daughter - who she considers her true yoga teacher!  She also enjoys digging deep into her spiritual life by reading, praying, meditating and cultivating a daily relationship with God-Source-Spirit ... Divine Love itself.
